فمتُّ مِنْ عشقٍ وَمَنْ عاشَ ماتْ
A downy-cheeked youth—I lived by kissing him.
Forgive me, I lived by his kiss
Then I died of love—and whoever lives dies.
I died of love, and he who lived, died

For his mouth and the hair on his cheek:
His mouth and the hair on his cheek
The one is tiny teeth, and the other is vegetation.
This is our way of life, this is our nature
