أصْبَحَ الخدُّ منْكَ جنّةَ عدْنٍ

مُجْتَلَى أعْينٍ وشَمَّ أنوفِ

Your cheek has become a garden of Eden,

A sight for eyes and a scent for noses.

ظَلّلَتْها منَ الجُفونِ سُيوفٌ

ظَلّلَتْها منَ الجُفونِ سُيوفٌ

جَنّةُ الخُلْدِ تحْتَ ظِلِّ السّيوفِ

جَنّةُ الخُلْدِ تحْتَ ظِلِّ السّيوفِ

Swords from the eyelids have shaded it:

The garden of eternity lies beneath the shade of swords.
