كَفَلَتْ عِنايَتُكَ الجَميْ

كَفَلَتْ عِنايَتُكَ الجَميْ

لَةُ لي بإحْرازِ الوَطَرْ

لَةُ لي بإحْرازِ الوَطَرْ

Your beautiful care has assured

Your care has guaranteed for me attaining high ambition

me of attaining my desire.

And I have found from benevolence and bounty

ولَقيتُ منْ بِرٍّ وخَيْ

ولَقيتُ منْ بِرٍّ وخَيْ

رٍمِلْءَ سَمْعيَ والبَصَرْ

رٍمِلْءَ سَمْعيَ والبَصَرْ

And I found kindness and goodness

Fullness of hearing and sight

filling my hearing and sight.

Thankful for your blessings which

شُكْراً لأنْعُمِكَ التي

شُكْراً لأنْعُمِكَ التي

يَزْدادُ منْها مَنْ شَكَرْ

يَزْدادُ منْها مَنْ شَكَرْ

Thanks for your favors, of which

Increase for those who give thanks

whoever gives thanks receives more.

When it was difficult for me to witness

لمّا تعذَّرَ أنْ أُشا

لمّا تعذَّرَ أنْ أُشا

هِدَ ذلكَ الوجْهَ الأغَرْ

هِدَ ذلكَ الوجْهَ الأغَرْ

When I could not behold

That radiant face

that radiant face,

I directed it to take the place in it

وَجّهْتُها لتَنوبَ فيهِ

وَجّهْتُها لتَنوبَ فيهِ

وفي هَنائِكَ بالمَطَرْ

وفي هَنائِكَ بالمَطَرْ

I sent it to stand in my stead in that,

And in your pleasures with rain

and in congratulating you on the rain.

And I kiss the generous palm

وأقَبّلُ الكَفَّ الكَريمةَ

وأقَبّلُ الكَفَّ الكَريمةَ

فهْوَ أوْلى مُبْتَدَرْ

فهْوَ أوْلى مُبْتَدَرْ

And I kiss the noble hand,

For it is the most deserving initiator

for that is the worthiest thing to hasten to.
