أرِدْdesire ماwhat كانَcame to pass وارْضَand be content بماwith what قَضاهُhe decreed it
أرِدْ ما كانَ وارْضَ بما قَضاهُ
إلاهُكَyour God هَذهِthis خُلْقُcharacter المُريدِthe seeker
إلاهُكَ هَذهِ خُلْقُ المُريدِ
Will whatever comes to pass, and be content with what is decreed
Desire what has come to pass, and be content with what has been decreed
by your God; such is the character of the seeker.
By your God; this is the seeker's character.
ومَنْand the one who أعْطاكَgave you بالشُّكْرِthrough gratitude اسْتَزِدْهُask him for more
ومَنْ أعْطاكَ بالشُّكْرِ اسْتَزِدْهُ
فإنّfor indeed الشُّكْرَgratitude مِفْتاحُthe key to المَزيدِmore
فإنّ الشُّكْرَ مِفْتاحُ المَزيدِ
And from Him who has given you, seek more through gratitude;
And ask the one who gave you for more through gratitude,
for gratitude is the key to increase.
For gratitude is the key to receiving more.
