يا صانِعي للّهِ ما أحْكَمْتَهُ

يا صانِعي للّهِ ما أحْكَمْتَهُ

فلأنْتَ بيْنَ الصّانِعينَ رَئيسُ

فلأنْتَ بيْنَ الصّانِعينَ رَئيسُ

O my maker, by God, how masterfully you fashioned it!

O Maker of mine, how skillfully You have made it!

For you are indeed chief among craftsmen.

You are the chief among makers.

أحْكَمْتَ تاجِيَ يوْمَ صُغْتَ رُقوشَهُ

أحْكَمْتَ تاجِيَ يوْمَ صُغْتَ رُقوشَهُ

فصَبَتْ إليْهِ مَفارِقٌ ورؤوسُ

فصَبَتْ إليْهِ مَفارِقٌ ورؤوسُ

You perfected my crown the day you fashioned its decorative patterns,

You made my crown skillfully when You crafted its designs,

So hair-partings and heads yearned for it.

So heads and temples flowed to it.

وأقَمْتَ في مِحْرابِهِ فكأنّهُ

وأقَمْتَ في مِحْرابِهِ فكأنّهُ

مجْلىَ إناءُ الماءِ فيهِ عَروسُ

مجْلىَ إناءُ الماءِ فيهِ عَروسُ

And you set it up in its niche, so it seems like

You established it in its prayer niche, so it seems

A bridal dais, with the water vessel within it a bride.

Like a basin filled with water, in which a bride washes.
