يا إماماً أطالَ رَبّي عُلاهُ

يا إماماً أطالَ رَبّي عُلاهُ

وهُماماً بالفَخْرِ ما أوْلاهُ

وهُماماً بالفَخْرِ ما أوْلاهُ

O imam, may my Lord prolong his eminence,

O Imam, may my Lord prolong your glory,

and noble hero—how worthy he is of glory!

And zeal for pride He has bestowed upon you.

أنْتَ كالرُّمْحِ في اعْتِدالٍ وطولٍ

أنْتَ كالرُّمْحِ في اعْتِدالٍ وطولٍ

وانْتِخابِ الحَديدِ في أعْلاهُ

وانْتِخابِ الحَديدِ في أعْلاهُ

You are like a spear in straightness and length,

You are like a spear, balanced and tall,

and in the choice of iron at its tip.

And choice iron at its highest point.
