لاَشُكْرَ لِي إِنْ كُنْتُ قَدْ أَحْبَبَتُكُمْ
أَوْor أَنَّنِيthat I اسْتَوْلَىtook hold عَلَيَّof me هَوَاكُمُlove for you
أَوْ أَنَّنِي اسْتَوْلَى عَلَيَّ هَوَاكُمُ
No credit is due me if I have loved you,

طَوْعاًwillingly وَكرْهاًand unwillingly مَاwhat تَرَوْنَyou see فَإِنَّنِيfor indeed I

طُفْتُI roamed الْوُجُودَexistence فَمَاand not وَجَدْتُI found سِوَاكُمُother than you
طُفْتُ الْوُجُودَ فَمَا وَجَدْتُ سِوَاكُمُ
