May you be greeted, O settlement of Sabt, son of Noah,

with every raincloud that comes at dawn or goes at dusk.

God be praised—how richly you have endowed us through it

with a gift beside which all other gifts fall short!

A garden of learning, over which has poured

the streaming cloud, with a downpour of thought.
