لاَmay not أَعْدَمَdeprive اللهُGod دَارَthe abode الْمُلْكِof kingship مِنْكَfrom you سَنَاradiance
لاَ أَعْدَمَ اللهُ دَارَ الْمُلْكِ مِنْكَ سَنَا
يُجْلَىis dispelled بِهِby it الْحَالِكَانِthe two dark things الظُّلْمُinjustice وَالظُّلَمُand darkness
يُجْلَى بِهِ الْحَالِكَانِ الظُّلْمُ وَالظُّلَمُ
May God never deprive the royal palace of your radiance,
by which the two dark things—injustice and darkness—are dispelled.
وَأَنْشَدَتْكَand recited to you اللَّيَالِيthe nights وَهْيَwhile they were صَادِقَةٌtruthful
وَأَنْشَدَتْكَ اللَّيَالِي وَهْيَ صَادِقَةٌ
الْمَجْدُglory عُوفِيَwas healed إِذْwhen عُوفِيتَyou were healed وَالْكَرَمُand generosity
الْمَجْدُ عُوفِيَ إِذْ عُوفِيتَ وَالْكَرَمُ
And the nights recited to you, speaking truth:
“Glory and generosity were healed when you were healed.”
