قدْ صحّ في سُنَنِ النّبي محمّدٍ

قدْ صحّ في سُنَنِ النّبي محمّدٍ

فَضْلي على المَوْشِيِّ والدِّيباجِ

فَضْلي على المَوْشِيِّ والدِّيباجِ

Indeed, it is established in the traditions of the Prophet Muhammad

My superiority over silk brocade is established

that I surpass embroidered cloth and brocade.

In the laws of Prophet Muhammad

ولأجْلِ هَذا اخْتَصّني بلِباسِه

ولأجْلِ هَذا اخْتَصّني بلِباسِه

مَلِكُ العُلى الأرْضَى أبو الحَجّاجِ

مَلِكُ العُلى الأرْضَى أبو الحَجّاجِ

And for this reason he chose me for his attire—

And for this reason the King of both worlds

the most pleasing king of lofty glory, Abu al-Hajjaj.

Chose me for his garment, the father of pilgrims
