أموْلايَ اسْتَزِدْ بالشُّكْرِ صُنْعا

أموْلايَ اسْتَزِدْ بالشُّكْرِ صُنْعا

فقَدْ وعَدَ المَزيدَ اللّهُ بعْدَهْ

فقَدْ وعَدَ المَزيدَ اللّهُ بعْدَهْ

O my lord, seek more favor through gratitude,

Increase your gratitude as a grace

for God has promised increase after it.

For God has promised more to come in its pace

أبَحْتَ ذِمارَ مَنْ ناواكَ لمّا

أبَحْتَ ذِمارَ مَنْ ناواكَ لمّا

نَوَيْتَ جِهادَهُ وقَصَدْتَ قَصْدَهْ

نَوَيْتَ جِهادَهُ وقَصَدْتَ قَصْدَهْ

You laid open the protected domain of him who opposed you when

You have unveiled the plot of those who wished you ill

you resolved to wage war against him and made for him.

When you intended his cause and sought his will

وما كانَ الذِّمارُ بمُسْتَباحٍ

وما كانَ الذِّمارُ بمُسْتَباحٍ

ولكنَّ العَزيزَ أعَزَّ عَبْدَهْ

ولكنَّ العَزيزَ أعَزَّ عَبْدَهْ

And that domain was not open to violation,

And the plotting was not to be accessible

but the Almighty made His servant mighty.

But the Almighty made his servant invincible
