إذاif ماever (emphatic) النّفسُthe soul مالَتْinclined نحْوَtoward حُسْنٍbeauty
فقَدْthen indeed خطَرْتَyou have ventured علَىupon خطَرِthe peril of الوَلوعِinfatuation
If ever the soul inclines toward beauty,
then you have ventured into the peril of infatuation.
فإنْso if أحْسَسْتَyou became aware بالمَيْلِof the inclination ادَّرِكْهاcatch it in time
فَماfor there is nothing بعْدَafter الميْلِthe inclination سِوىexcept الوُقوعِfalling
So if you become aware of the inclination, catch it in time;
for after inclination comes nothing but falling.
