أنا روْضَةٌ وجْهُ الأميرِ محمّدٍ

شمْسي ودوني للحُسامِ غَديرُ

شمْسي ودوني للحُسامِ غَديرُ

I am a garden; the face of Prince Muhammad

I am a garden, and the face of Prince Muhammad

is my sun, and beneath me lies a pool for the sword.

Is my sun, and below me is a pool for the swords.

وإذا التَقى روْضٌ ونهْرٌ كيفَ لا

وإذا التَقى روْضٌ ونهْرٌ كيفَ لا

يُلْفى لأكْواسِ الحُروبِ مُديرُ

يُلْفى لأكْواسِ الحُروبِ مُديرُ

And when a garden and a river meet, how could there not

When a garden and a river meet, how can

be found a cupbearer for the cups of war?

The leader of battles not come to drink?
