لِمُجَدِّدِ الملكِ الرَّفيعِ مُحَمَّدٍ

لِمُجَدِّدِ الملكِ الرَّفيعِ مُحَمَّدٍ

أنْشِيتُ فَاعْجَبْ مِنْ غَرَابةِ شَانِي

أنْشِيتُ فَاعْجَبْ مِنْ غَرَابةِ شَانِي

For Muhammad, restorer of exalted sovereignty,

For the elevating renewer of the kingdom, Muhammad,

I was fashioned—so marvel at my strange nature.

I composed, so marvel at the strangeness of my condition—

تَبْدُو بِظَاهرِيَ الأمُورُ كَأنَّنِي

تَبْدُو بِظَاهرِيَ الأمُورُ كَأنَّنِي

مِنْ بَاطِنِ المَوْلَى الذِي أَنْشَانِي

مِنْ بَاطِنِ المَوْلَى الذِي أَنْشَانِي

Things appear on my exterior, as though I were

Outwardly, matters appear as if

from the inner depths of the lord who fashioned me.

I am from the esoteric core of the Master who composed me.
