بِاسْماعيلَ ثمّ أخيهِ قَيْسٍ
صَبِرُaloe التصبُّرِpatient endurance منْamong أجَلِّthe finest عِلاجِهاits treatment
صَبِرُ التصبُّرِ منْ أجَلِّ عِلاجِها
By Ismail, then his brother Qays,
The aloe of patient endurance is among its finest remedies.
دَمُblood الأخَوَيْنِthe two brothers دَوىhealed جُرْحَwound قَلبيmy heart
دَمُ الأخَوَيْنِ دَوى جُرْحَ قَلبي
وعالَجَنيand treated me وحَسْبُكِand enough for you منْof عِلاجِtreatment
وعالَجَني وحَسْبُكِ منْ عِلاجِ
The blood of the two brothers healed my heart’s wound
And treated me; that is remedy enough for you.
