حيا سليمان صوب العارض الهطل

من رحمة اللَه بالأبكار والأصل

من رحمة اللَه بالأبكار والأصل

May the rain-cloud's abundant downpour greet Sulayman,

Behold Sulaiman facing the pouring rain

from God's mercy, in the early mornings and evenings—

With God's mercy upon the virgins and the clan

السيد الفاضل ابن السادة الفضلا

السيد الفاضل ابن السادة الفضلا

من آل أحمد طه خاتم الرسل

من آل أحمد طه خاتم الرسل

the virtuous master, son of virtuous masters,

The noble gentleman, son of the noblest men

of the family of Ahmad, Ta-Ha, the seal of the messengers.

From the family of Ahmad, the seal of messengers

نعم الشريف الذي في الصالحين له

نعم الشريف الذي في الصالحين له

ذكر وليس عن السر المصون خلى

ذكر وليس عن السر المصون خلى

How excellent the nobleman who, among the righteous, has

What a noble one he is, among the righteous remembered

renown, and is not bereft of the guarded secret.

His secrets untouched, his deeds proclaimed

نشأ عن طاعة الرحمن من صغر

نشأ عن طاعة الرحمن من صغر

والخير والبر والمرضى من العمل

والخير والبر والمرضى من العمل

He grew up in obedience to the Most Merciful from childhood,

Raised in obedience to the Merciful since youth

and in goodness, piety, and deeds that win approval.

Goodness, righteousness and care for the sick his deeds

مشى على منهج الأسلاف من سلف

مشى على منهج الأسلاف من سلف

له من الأولياء السادة الأول

له من الأولياء السادة الأول

He walked the path of his forebears, those who came before

He walked the path of ancestors past

him among the saints—the masters of old.

With the foremost saints his guardians

فاللَه يحسن مثواه ويرحمه

فاللَه يحسن مثواه ويرحمه

ويرضى عنه ويغفر سائر الزلل

ويرضى عنه ويغفر سائر الزلل

May God grant him a good abode and have mercy on him,

So may God honor his resting place and have mercy

and be pleased with him and forgive all his missteps,

And be pleased with him, forgiving all slips

ويجمع الشمل منا حيث حضرته

ويجمع الشمل منا حيث حضرته

بمقعد الصدق غاية قصد كل ولي

بمقعد الصدق غاية قصد كل ولي

and reunite us where he is present,

And reunite us where you brought him

in the seat of truth, the ultimate goal of every saint's quest.

To the abode of truth, the goal of every saint

وان يوفقنا للصالحات وما

وان يوفقنا للصالحات وما

وترضيه قبل حلول الموت والأجل

وترضيه قبل حلول الموت والأجل

And may he enable us to do righteous deeds and all that

And grant us success in righteous deeds

pleases him, before death and the appointed hour arrive.

That please You before death and fate befall

ثم الصلاة على المختار سيدنا

ثم الصلاة على المختار سيدنا

محمد وسلام اللَه بعد يلي

محمد وسلام اللَه بعد يلي

Then blessings be upon the Chosen One, our master,

Then blessings upon the Chosen One, our liege

Muhammad, and may God's peace follow thereafter.
