رجال اللَه من كل ذي قلب منور

And among the people of inner mysteries:

Men of God, each possessing an illumined heart,

  7. مصفى من جميع الدنس طيب مطهر

    وذه دنيا دنيه

Purged of all defilement, pure and cleansed.

To use his reason, he would reflect more deeply:

He would reflect on its passing away,

    وفي قلة غناها

    And on its abundant hardship,

    And on its scant benefit.

    وأهلونا وأحباب

    And the gnostic shaykhs,

And our family and loved ones—

    Leaders for all people,

    Love for them is happiness.
