تَكْفِي المُلِمَّ ولا تَزُورُ لِمَامَا
Maiden victories have sought you as their leader;
Your nation has appointed the victors' youth as an imam,
They ward off calamity, and their visits are not rare.
Sufficient for the oppressor, he does not visit the sick unjustly,

They rose as shining stars—rather, blossoms placed
Blossoms have bloomed, rather flowers have been deposited
In white parchments and scrolls as their flower-sheaths.
In the white sleeves and the feathered caps.

So endure for a rule that has set leaning guidance upright,
So take a stand for a sultan who stood for the young guidance,
And remain safe for a reign that has strengthened Islam.
And submit to a king who supported Islam.

The signs of your victory have left no doubt,
The signs of your victory did not overlook any doubt,
Like dawn, whose radiance finds no darkness.
Like the dawn that does not conceal its brightness with darkness.

Here are the enemies—some felled, others shackled;
Ask the swords and the pens about them.
And ask the swords and pens about them.

The iron raged against them and so struck them,
Clearing the plated armor and chaining the feet.
Hewing through necks and fettering feet.
