Indeed, the imam of truth never tires of
The Imam of truth does not tire of
sending forth and bringing in from certain knowledge.
Issuing truth and introducing guidance

يا من رأى مُجتَهِداً مُقَلِّدا
He entrusted it, after due deliberation, to one worthy of it.
He imitated it through his diligent scholars
O you who have seen a man of independent judgment conferring office!
O you who saw a scholar imitating

His efforts surrounded it on both sides

A caliphate—had anyone but Yahya al-Murtada
A caliphate, if other than Yahya Al-Murtaza
sought to stand beneath its burden, he would have sat down.
Wanted to undertake its burden, he would sit down

مَا ضَرّهُ أن لمْ يكنْ مُهَنَّدا
From his judgment he drew a keen sword in its defense;
Ask his opinion to unsheathe a sword for it
it did him no harm that it was not Indian-forged.
It did not hurt him that he was not a swordsmith

Nor did he leave Ahmad's community untended,
And he did not leave Ahmad’s nation neglected
when he chose Muhammad as its designated successor.
Where he was pleased to appoint Muhammad as its guardian

My God, how glorious are their traces
in righteous works, father and son!
In righteous deeds, father and son

Between the guide among them and the guided one,
Between the guide and guided among them
the perfections of existence appear as he comes forth.
The perfections of existence appear when they appear

فَنَوّراه قَمَراً وفَرْقَدا
And whenever an age grew dark, the two rose,
Whenever an era becomes dark, they emerge
and lit it up, as a moon and a Farqad star.
Enlightening it like a full moon

And if a pillar of the realm weakened or fell,
If a pillar of the kingdom inclines or sways
they both rescued it, as forearm and upper arm.
They bolster it, lending a hand and shoulder
