طَلَعَتْ بِأسْعَد حَالَةٍ وَمَآبِ

Congratulations, O full moon of perfection, on crescent moons

You were congratulated, O full moon of perfection, on the occasion

That have risen in the most auspicious state and with the happiest outcome.

You rose in the happiest of states and destinations

اثْنَانِ ثُمّ ابْنَان مِنْكَ تَفَرَّعَا

اثْنَانِ ثُمّ ابْنَان مِنْكَ تَفَرَّعَا

في أطْهرِ الأحْسَابِ والأنْسَابِ

في أطْهرِ الأحْسَابِ والأنْسَابِ

Two—and two sons at that—who have sprung from you

Two, then two sons from you branched out

وَهلالُ هَذا الشّهْرِ ثَالِثُها الذي
