O dweller within my ribs, who never leaves them,
O ever present in my ribs, never leaving,
even if he departs from the environs of his dwellings.
Even if he departs the folds of four,

You are indeed the pupil of my eye—so marvel at one
You are a man of my eye so marvel at one
whose eye’s pupil lies between his ribs.
Whose humanity lies between his ribs
