When God waters all the gardens
When God waters all the gardens
With torrents from a cloud that drips unceasingly, pouring down,
With clouds of constant pouring rain
فَأَعطَشَthen may He make thirsty بُستانيmy garden الإِلَهُGod وَلاand not سَقىwater

Then may God leave my garden thirsty, and never water
Yet leaves my garden thirsting still
A single sprig in it, so long as a star shines or sets.
