وَسُكّانِ دارٍ لا تَواصُلَ بَينَهُم

وَسُكّانِ دارٍ لا تَواصُلَ بَينَهُم

عَلى قُربِ بَعضٍ في التَجاوُرِ مِن بَعضِ

عَلى قُربِ بَعضٍ في التَجاوُرِ مِن بَعضِ

And dwellers of a house have no contact with one another,

And dwellers of a land with no bonding between them

despite their nearness to one another as neighbors.

Despite some being neighbors to others

كَأَنَّ خَواتيماً مِنَ الطينِ بَينَهُم

كَأَنَّ خَواتيماً مِنَ الطينِ بَينَهُم

فَلَيسَ لَها حَتّى القِيامَةِ مِن فَضِّ

فَلَيسَ لَها حَتّى القِيامَةِ مِن فَضِّ

As though there were seals of clay between them,

As if clay seals were between them

so they will not be broken until the Resurrection.

So they have no goodness until Judgment Day
