هذهِ دارُ أمير المؤمنينا

فادخلوها بسلامٍ آمينا

This is the house of the Commander of the Faithful

So enter it in peace, amen

واسكنوها جنةً قد زُخرفت

لك يا يحيى تسرَّ الناظرينا

And reside in it, a paradise adorned

For you, O Yahya, pleasing to beholders

من رآها قال لا شلت يدٌ

أحكمت صنعك بل صحّت يمينا

He who saw it said no hand withered

You perfected your work, indeed your oath held true

لم يكن فيما رأينا مثلها

في زمان وبعيد أن يكونا

The like of it we did not see

In an age, nor is it far off that it will be

كتب الجود على أبوابها

هاهنا يحمدُ رب العالمينا

Generosity wrote upon its doors

He who draws near it, his wishes draw near

من دنا منها دنت منه المنى

فلنا إن ندن منها ما اشتهينا

So for us, if we draw near it, is what we desire

Its door opens onto our livelihood

بابَها يفتح عن أرزاقنا

منك يا يحيى ورزق المسلمينا

From you, O Yahya, and the Muslims' provision

There comes every excellent thing

قد تأتي كلُّ شيء حسنٌ

لك فاسكن آمناً واقرر عيونا

For you, so reside securely and solace the eyes
