When arrows of rain are loosed

When the archer of clouds launched arrows of rain

at the water as a target by the bow of clouds,

At the water's surface, the target of his aim,

I see the bubbles on its surface

I saw in its ripples the sparkling tips

as the pointed heads of those arrows.

Of the arrowheads from that volley of rain.
