O you who pity my heart, patience has worn me thin.
My heart is merciful though patience has healed me,
For in your world, without patience, the freeborn man would not be known.
For without patience, your world would not know freedom.

In earnest, must you spend each morning distraught
I find you only sacrifice the brave,
over me? Can a grieving woman conceal a secret?
While could a secret remain hidden from the resolute?

And the selfless will withstand adversity.

My cares in attaining high honors match my ambition;
My aspirations to glory torment me,
and if the world refuses, my excuse is plain.
Though the world grows dark, my cause is still clear.

But this broken thing, it has no guiding star.

for my resolve has carried me far, though life is short.
My resolve is hardened, though my years run short.

Though unease stirs when the cliff face looms.

Concealed a grudge to spread their schemes.

the secret thoughts of a spiteful man, through which cunning flees.
Grasping their spears within its expanse.
