1. يا بني الهادي الرسول

    أنتم غاية سؤلي

    O children of the guiding Messenger,

    You are the ultimate object of my longing.

  2. أنتم في الحشر ملجا

    لي وكهفي ومقيلي

    You are a refuge at the Gathering

    for me, my cave and my noonday resting place.

  3. لا أرى لي غير حبيكم

    عتاداً لرحيلي

    I see nothing for myself but my love for you

    as provision for my departure,

  4. وملإذا يوم لا يغني

    خليل عن خليل

    and as a refuge on the day when no help comes

    from one friend to another,

  5. وشفيعا غيركم

    يا آل طه والبتول

    nor any intercessor other than you,

    O family of Taha and al-Batul!

  6. يا سقاة الحوض في

    يوم الظما والسلسبيل

    O cupbearers at the Pool on

    the day of thirst, and at Salsabil!

  7. ارحموا ضعفي فقر اثقلتُ

    ظهري وتليلي

    Have mercy on my weakness and poverty; I have burdened

    my back and my neck.

  8. انقعوا في العطش

    الأكبر من صدري غليلي

    Quench, amid the thirst

    most severe, the burning thirst within my breast.

  9. فإليكم يلتجي كل

    عزيز وذليل

    For everyone seeks refuge in you—

    the mighty and the lowly.

  10. وعليكم صلوات

    الواحد الفرد الجليل

    And upon you be the blessings

    of the One, the Unique, the Majestic,

  11. عاطرات النشر

    ما هب قبول بقبول

    wafting their sweet fragrance,

    as long as the east wind blows with favor.
