في أمل لم أبده الشافعا
My Lord, my Lord, intercede for me
My lord, my lord, be my intercessor
in a hope I have not voiced, O Intercessor.
For a hope I have not disclosed to the intercessor.
فالداءfor the illness لاnot يحسمهputs an end to it نافعa helper
فالداء لا يحسمه نافع
ماas long as لمnot يكنbe عالمهthe one who knows it النافعاthe helper
ما لم يكن عالمه النافعا
For no healer can eradicate the malady
For no helper can put an end to the illness
unless the one who knows it is the Giver of Benefit.
Unless that helper is the one who knows it.
