ألا يا سمي الهاشمي محمد

ألا يا سمي الهاشمي محمد

ومن زاره حقاً وليس به زور

ومن زاره حقاً وليس به زور

Hear me, O namesake of Muhammad the Hashemite,

O you, the Hashimi by name, Muhammad,

And you who truly visited him, with no falsehood in it:

And whoever visits you in truth, not falsehood,

حججت بحمد الله اكمل حجة

حججت بحمد الله اكمل حجة

ووفرك مبذول وعرضك موفور

ووفرك مبذول وعرضك موفور

You performed, praise be to God, the most complete pilgrimage,

You have performed the hajj, by God's grace, the most complete hajj,

And your wealth was freely spent, and your honor undiminished.

Your wealth was spent, your honor preserved,

وعدت وفي التاريخ حمد أزيده

وعدت وفي التاريخ حمد أزيده

وحجك مقبول وسعيك مشكور

وحجك مقبول وسعيك مشكور

And you returned; in the chronogram I add praise:

You have returned, and in history more praise is added,

And your pilgrimage is accepted, and your striving appreciated.

Your hajj accepted, your effort appreciated.
