ورقا أخوك إلى محل الأشرف

ورقا أخوك إلى محل الأشرف

Do not be astonished that your rank was brought low,

while your brother rose to the noblest station.

أو ما ترى نوع الأديم جميعه

أو ما ترى نوع الأديم جميعه

منه الحذار ومنه جلد المصحف

And do you not see the whole category of leather?

From it comes 'caution' [perhaps intended: footwear], and from it the Qur’an’s leather binding.
