بمثلِ حُسنِيَ الاطرفِ الأظرفِ

بمثلِ حُسنِيَ الاطرفِ الأظرفِ

يُخدَمُ بيتُ المَلِكِ الأشرفِ

يُخدَمُ بيتُ المَلِكِ الأشرفِ

With beauty like mine, most wondrous and most graceful,

With beauty like my charming, graceful eyes

The house of the most noble king is served.

The king's splendid house is served

فاعجب لما أحكمه الصُنعُ مِن

فاعجب لما أحكمه الصُنعُ مِن

بدائِعَ شَتَّى ومِن زُخرُفِ

بدائِعَ شَتَّى ومِن زُخرُفِ

So marvel at what craftsmanship has perfected:

So wondrous is what skill has perfected

Wonders of many kinds and ornament.

Of diverse marvels and decorations

كأنها الروضُ النضيرُ الذي

كأنها الروضُ النضيرُ الذي

أزهَارُهُ الغَضَّةُ ومِن زُخرُفِ

أزهَارُهُ الغَضَّةُ ومِن زُخرُفِ

As though they were the verdant garden whose

As though it were the verdant garden

Blossoms are tender and made of ornament.

Whose blossoms are fresh and decorated

وحسبُهَا في الفخرِ أن طُرِّزَت

وحسبُهَا في الفخرِ أن طُرِّزَت

باسم الإمام الأعطفِ الأرأفِ

باسم الإمام الأعطفِ الأرأفِ

And it is glory enough for them to have been embroidered

And it suffices for its pride that it was embroidered

With the name of the most tender-hearted, most compassionate imam:

With the name of the gentlest, most merciful Imam

ملكِ العلى نجلِ الإمام الرِّضَا

ملكِ العلى نجلِ الإمام الرِّضَا

أبي سعيدٍ بن أبي يوسفِ

أبي سعيدٍ بن أبي يوسفِ

King of lofty glory, son of the well-pleasing imam

The king of the sublime, son of Imam Ridha

Abu Sa‘id, son of Abu Yusuf.

Abu Sa'eed son of Abu Yusuf

فأيَّدَ الرحمَن دينَ الهُدَى

فأيَّدَ الرحمَن دينَ الهُدَى

منه بعزمٍ مُتلِفٍ مخلفِ

منه بعزمٍ مُتلِفٍ مخلفِ

So may the All-Merciful strengthen the religion of guidance

So the Merciful supported the religion of guidance

Through a resolve of his that destroys and restores.

Through him with united, succeeding determination
