What is pure and fragrant, yet

its origin is not among the pure?

من الظِّباءِ الحسانِ لكن

من الظِّباءِ الحسانِ لكن

إذا تأمَّلتَهُ ففارَهُ

إذا تأمَّلتَهُ ففارَهُ

From the beautiful gazelles, yet

if you examine it, it is a mouse.

نصَّ حديثُ الرسولِ فيهِ

نصَّ حديثُ الرسولِ فيهِ

شهادةً تقتضي بِشارَهُ

شهادةً تقتضي بِشارَهُ

The Messenger’s saying sets forth about it

a testimony that warrants glad tidings.

منزلك الآهلُ العِماره
