سفكُ الدماء الحرام جُرمٌ

سفكُ الدماء الحرام جُرمٌ

به غداً يبدأ الحسابُ

Shedding inviolable blood is a crime;

The shedding of innocent blood is a sin

with it, the reckoning begins tomorrow.

For it tomorrow begins the reckoning

ومن أولي العلم من رأى

ومن أولي العلم من رأى

أن ليس لسفّاكها مثابُ

أن ليس لسفّاكها مثابُ

And some among the learned have held

And of those with knowledge is he who saw

that its shedder has no way back to repentance.

That for its spiller is no reward

فراقبَ اللهَ واجتَنِبهَا

فراقبَ اللهَ واجتَنِبهَا

واحذَر يضاعف له العذابُ

واحذَر يضاعف له العذابُ

So be mindful of God and avoid it,

So be mindful of God and avoid it

and beware: his punishment is doubled.

And beware or His punishment will double
