حرسَ الرحمنُ تلكَ السيادة

حرسَ الرحمنُ تلكَ السيادة

وحباها بالرِّضا والسعادة

وحباها بالرِّضا والسعادة

May the All-Merciful guard that lordship,

The Most Merciful has guarded that sovereignty

and grant it favor and happiness,

And endowed it with contentment and bliss

وحَمَاها ووقاها وأجرَى

وحَمَاها ووقاها وأجرَى

مجدَها الأرضَى على خَيرِ عادة

مجدَها الأرضَى على خَيرِ عادة

and protect it, shield it, and carry

And protected it and shielded it and steered

its most pleasing glory onward in the finest tradition.

Its earthly glory on the best course

وَرَدَ الطِرسُ الكريمُ الذي قد

وَرَدَ الطِرسُ الكريمُ الذي قد

جاء بالحسنى معاً والزيادة

جاء بالحسنى معاً والزيادة

The noble missive has arrived, which has

And the generous destiny has returned that

brought goodness together with more besides.

Brought goodness and bounty together

وافدٌ لو أبذل النَّفسَ فيهِ

وافدٌ لو أبذل النَّفسَ فيهِ

لَم أوفِّ حَقِّ تِلكَ الوفادة

لَم أوفِّ حَقِّ تِلكَ الوفادة

A visitor for whom, were I to give my life,

An arrival, if I sacrificed my soul for it

I would not give that visit its due.

I would not fulfill the right of that arrival
