وكفاهُ مِن شَرَفٍ وعزِّ أنَّهُ

أنصارُ خيرِ العالمينَ جدودَهُ

أنصارُ خيرِ العالمينَ جدودَهُ

And it is honor and glory enough for him that

It sufficed him with honor and might that he

the Helpers of the best of all creation are his forefathers.

Is descended from the helpers of the best of mankind

ورثَ المعالي كابِراً عن كابرِ

ورثَ المعالي كابِراً عن كابرِ

فله الفخارُ طريفه وتليدهُ

فله الفخارُ طريفه وتليدهُ

He inherited lofty honors, an illustrious heir to illustrious forebears;

He inherited glorious traits from glorious ancestors

so his is glory, both newly won and ancestral.

So his is the pride - refined and longstanding
