وطابَ يومي لقربِ أشباهي
The merrymaker’s mirth spurred my morning drinking,
My morning urged me to be playful,
And my day was sweet with those like me nearby.
And my day became pleasant with my friends nearby.

After a gone day of grief and sighs.

From the palm of a generous daughter,
His waist wrapped in wantonness, full of swagger.

Bewildered, between being mindful and heedless.
Leaving the drinker dazed between consciousness and oblivion.
