أَنِسَ الشِّبلُ اِبتِهاجاً بِالأَسَد

أَنِسَ الشِّبلُ اِبتِهاجاً بِالأَسَد

وَرَأى شِبهَ أَبيهِ فَقَصَد

وَرَأى شِبهَ أَبيهِ فَقَصَد

The cub took comfort in the lion, rejoicing.

And saw his father's likeness, so approached.

وَدَعا الطائِرُ بِالنَّصرِ لَكُم

وَدَعا الطائِرُ بِالنَّصرِ لَكُم

وَبِتَأييدٍ فَكُلٌّ قَد شَهِد

وَبِتَأييدٍ فَكُلٌّ قَد شَهِد

And the bird prayed for victory for you,

And for support; so everyone has borne witness.
