بِكُلّ كَمِيٍّ يُبيدُ العِدَا

بِكُلّ كَمِيٍّ يُبيدُ العِدَا

ويُشرِقُ من وجهِه المُنتَدى

ويُشرِقُ من وجهِه المُنتَدى

With every armored warrior who annihilates the foes,

With every guide the enemies are destroyed

And whose face lights up the gathering.

And from his face the guided one shines

وتُنضي المَطيّ إليه السُّرى

ويستقصِرُ الركبُ طولَ المدَى

And night journeys toward him exhaust the mounts,

The riding beasts hasten to him eagerly

And the caravan deems the long distance short.

And the caravan finds the distant goal near

وتهَوي إليه بناتُ القُلوبِ

وتهَوي إليه بناتُ القُلوبِ

بِرَوضٍ تَرَقرَقَ فيه النَّدى

بِرَوضٍ تَرَقرَقَ فيه النَّدى

And the daughters of hearts swoop toward him,

The hearts' daughters plunge towards him

In a meadow where the dew shimmers.

In a meadow where the dew flows gently

إذا جهل السَّمتَ قُصّاده

إذا جهل السَّمتَ قُصّاده

تَضوَّع نشرٌ به يُهتدى

تَضوَّع نشرٌ به يُهتدى

When those seeking him do not know the way,

If the archers missed their target

A fragrance wafts by which they are guided.

It spread out with a pattern that gives guidance

ولاحَت على شرفٍ حُرّةٌ

ولاحَت على شرفٍ حُرّةٌ

تمدُّ إلى كُلّ سارٍ يَدا

تمدُّ إلى كُلّ سارٍ يَدا

And a noble flame gleams upon a height,

And there appeared over a free horizon

Stretching a hand toward every night traveler.

A hand that reaches out to every seeker

فتنقِذُه من بُحورِ الظَّلامِ

فتنقِذُه من بُحورِ الظَّلامِ

وتقذِفهُ في بُحورِ النَّدى

وتقذِفهُ في بُحورِ النَّدى

So it rescues him from seas of darkness,

Saving him from seas of darkness

And casts him into seas of generosity.

And casting him into seas of light
