لئن كانَ ذنباً أنني لم أزركمُ

لَفَقدي للقياكم أشَدُّ عِقابِ

If it was a sin that I did not visit you,

If it was a sin that I did not visit you

then surely my deprivation of meeting you is the harshest punishment.

Then my deprivation of seeing you is punishment enough
