Indeed, by Him who fashioned the sky in its place,
By Him who set the sky in its place
And by Him who let loose the two seas to meet,
And joined the two seas that meet

Surely your two hands were created only for four
Your palms were made for only four:
Noble purposes, for which no other hands were made:
To clasp another's hand in yours

وتَقليبِ هِنديٍّ وحَبسِ عِنانِ
For mouths to kiss, and for bestowing bounty,
To seal a lover's lips in bliss
And for wielding an Indian sword, and holding the reins.
To hold a wine cup and rein a steed
