مُعصَّبِ بالجمالِ
And a young gazelle, full of coy charm,
A branch growing over a sand dune
Wreathed in beauty,
Swaying with all allure

He begrudges being enfolded
Adorned in beauty
With me by the darkness of nights,
Longing to contain it

With me in the darkness of nights
Of his phantom with mine.

يختالُ كلَّ اخْتيالِ
A branch that grew atop a sand mound,
Its image with my image
Swaying with the utmost pride.

والوجهُ مثلُ الهلالِ
Her belly is slender,
And her face is like the crescent moon.
