مَقَالَةُ ذِي نُصْحٍ وَذَاتُ فَوَائِدَ

مَقَالَةُ ذِي نُصْحٍ وَذَاتُ فَوَائِدَ

إِذَا مِنْ ذَوِي الْأَلْبَابِ كَانَ اسْتِمَاعُهَا

إِذَا مِنْ ذَوِي الْأَلْبَابِ كَانَ اسْتِمَاعُهَا

A sincere adviser’s saying, full of benefits,

A wise discourse of counsel, full of benefits,

when heard by people of understanding:

When attentively heard by the wise and reasonable.

عَلَيْكُمْ بِآثَارِ النَّبِيِّ فَإِنَّهَا

عَلَيْكُمْ بِآثَارِ النَّبِيِّ فَإِنَّهَا

مِنْ أَفْضَلِ أَعْمَالِ الرَّشَادِ اتِّبَاعُهَا

مِنْ أَفْضَلِ أَعْمَالِ الرَّشَادِ اتِّبَاعُهَا

Adhere to the Prophet’s traditions, for

Keep to the ways of the Prophet, for following them

following them is among the finest deeds of right guidance.

Is the best of all righteous deeds.
