For God is ever accepting of repentance, merciful,
For Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful
The One who accepts the repentance of every wayward soul.
The Guardian of accepting the repentance of every misguided one
أُؤَمِّلُI hope أَنthat يُعافِيَنيHe may heal me بِعَفوٍthrough forgiveness
أُؤَمِّلُ أَن يُعافِيَني بِعَفوٍ
وَيُسخِنَand make burn with grief عَينَthe eye of إِبليسَIblis المُناويthe adversary
وَيُسخِنَ عَينَ إِبليسَ المُناوي
I hope He will heal me through forgiveness,
I hope He cures me with His pardon
And make the eye of Iblis, the adversary, burn with grief,
And saddens the eye of accursed Iblis
وَيَنفَعَنيand benefit me بِمَوعِظَتيthrough my admonition وَقَوليand my speech

وَيَنفَعَ كُلَّ مُستَمِعٍ وَراوي
And benefit me through my admonition and my speech,
And benefits me through my preaching and words
And benefit every listener and reciter.
And benefits every listening, narrating soul

أَلا إِنَّ الذُنوبَ هِيَ المَكاوي
My sins have indeed seared both my sides;
My sins have heaped my side, indeed
Behold, sins are indeed the cauterizing irons.
Alas, sins are the destroyers
فَلَيسَfor there is no لِمَنfor the one whom كَواهُhas seared him الذَنبُsin عَمداًdeliberately

For one seared by willful sin, there is none
So one whom sin has intentionally covered
To heal him save the pardon of the Guardian.
Has no refuge but the pardon of The Guardian
