سناradiance الأضواءِthe lights لاحshone علىupon المراياthe mirrors
سنا الأضواءِ لاح على المرايا
ونورُand the light of محمدMuhammad هيهاتِimpossible! ينكرْbe denied
ونورُ محمد هيهاتِ ينكرْ
The radiance of the lights shone upon the mirrors;
And Muhammad's light could never be denied.
ومصرُand Egypt بعَودهat his return ازدانتwas adorned وكلٌّand everyone
ومصرُ بعَوده ازدانت وكلٌّ
أحسَّfelt منfrom السرِورِjoy بذَوقِwith a taste of سكّرْsugar
أحسَّ من السرِورِ بذَوقِ سكّرْ
And Egypt was adorned by his return, and everyone
felt, in their joy, a taste of sugar.
