قُتِلَ ابنُ آدم كم يزيغ فؤاده

فيرى أموراً قط لن تُتصورَا

May the son of Adam perish! How often his heart goes astray,

The son of Adam is repeatedly murdered

and so he sees things that could never be imagined.

As his heart is misguided to see unimaginable things

والحق بادٍ للأنام وإنما

والحق بادٍ للأنام وإنما

يحتاج صاحبه لأن يتفكرا

يحتاج صاحبه لأن يتفكرا

And truth is plain to humankind; all

While the truth has vanished for people

its possessor needs is to reflect.

Its beholder needs to contemplate
