In Muzaynah, no orator is to be found,
A decorated place where no orator is seen
Nor a fertile watercourse that people frequent,
Nor a canal circled by a fertile palm tree

Nor anyone who fills the wooden bowls and offers protection
Nor one who fills the water-skin and protects
When frost drives the dog into its den.
When the dog startles it, urged by thirst

Men among whom good deeds perish—
Men who, in them good deeds come to naught
They regard the he-goat as a well-bred horse.
See the goat as a noble steed
