وَكَم حافِرٍ حُفرَةً لِاِمرِئٍ

وَكَم حافِرٍ حُفرَةً لِاِمرِئٍ

سَيَصرَعُهُ البَغيُ فيما اِحتَفَر

سَيَصرَعُهُ البَغيُ فيما اِحتَفَر

And many a man who digs a pit for another

How many a grave is being dug for a man

Will be felled by wrongdoing in the pit he dug.

Whom avarice will strike down though he digs it himself
