Sleepless-eyed, my eyes have never known

If the tribe—my tribe—dozes, I wander in love's torment,
The concerns of life have roused my worries
until it is as though I have known nothing but sleeplessness.
As if I know nothing but sadness

O guide of miseries, bring me back my moon
among those white howdahs—so go slowly.
Amongst those white encampments, make haste!
