بِكَthrough you العُلاglory تَظاهَرُmanifests itself
فَأَنتَfor you فيهاwithin it الزاهِرُthe radiant one
Through you, glory manifests itself,
With you glory is adorned
for you are its radiant one.
For you are its blossom
وَأَنتَand you مِنهاof it سَمعُهاits hearing
وَأَنتَand you فيهاwithin it الباصِرُthe seeing one
And you are its sense of hearing,
You are its hearing and sight
and within it you are the one who sees.
And its finder you are
وَواجِدٌand enamored أَنتَyou بِهاof it
وَمَنand whoever يَثنيdissuades ساخِرُa scoffer
And you are enamored of it,
Whoever mocks is a fault-finder
and whoever would dissuade you is a scoffer.
But Egypt's nectar
فَقُطرُso the land مِصرَEgypt يَنبَغيought
بِكَof you المَلاthe multitude يُفاخِرُboasts
So the land of Egypt ought
Should take pride in you
to boast of you before the multitude,
For you are the Chosen One, the Expert
إِذsince أَنتَyou فيهِin it المُصطَفىthe chosen one
وَأَنتَand you فيهِin it الماهِرُthe skilled one
since within it you are the chosen one,
Knowledge and deeds without
and within it you are the skilled one.

وَالحَزمُand firm resolve فيكَin you حاضِرُpresent
Recklessness is absent from you,
Knowledge is a garden whose branch
and firm resolve is present in you.
By God, you make flourish

None will deny your merit
by God—is you, flourishing.

How many problems you have solved
one who denies the daylight.

How many a difficult problem you have solved,
And you handled dilemmas
though earlier it was called daunting.

And a lofty ambition
denying what you have achieved.

Who do I have with gallantry in calamities
before which the great are humbled.

Who can find me a noble man in the land
By God, you are worthy of it
who would be its ruler?
And capable, appropriate for it

By God, you are indeed worthy of it,
and fit for it, and capable.

Whereupon all are thankful
for which everyone is grateful.

That will soon come your way
coming your way presently.
