أَهنَأ بِعامٍ قَد أَتاكَ مُبارِكاً

أَهنَأ بِعامٍ قَد أَتاكَ مُبارِكاً

وَمُباشِراً بِسَعادَةٍ لا تَعبُدُ

وَمُباشِراً بِسَعادَةٍ لا تَعبُدُ

Rejoice in a year that has come to you bringing blessings,

I wish you a new year blessed,

And engaging directly with happiness that does not worship.

Bringing such happiness unrestrained.

فيهِ تَوَلّانا السُرورُ لِأَنَّهُ

فيهِ تَوَلّانا السُرورُ لِأَنَّهُ

عامٌ سَعيدٌ أَنتَ فيهِ أَسعَدُ

عامٌ سَعيدٌ أَنتَ فيهِ أَسعَدُ

In it, joy has taken us into its care, for it is

In it may joy be ours to meet,

A happy year in which you are happier still.

For you a year so sweet.
